A complete transformation from a dark, closed-in residence to a spectacular mansion with abundant light, space, openness, a connection with the outdoors and exciting materials. The basement was deepened throughout, the rather closed rear facade was replaced by a large, steel-framed glass front, and the storage room and garage have been converted into a large kitchen.
