At Kabaz, you work on the entire design and construction process, from measuring an existing situation to drawing the implementation blueprints. There is a great working atmosphere amongst colleagues, which is very important because you work together closely during projects. I find both the fields of interior architecture and architecture very interesting, and at Kabaz these fields are combined. A moment I’ll never forget is the opening of Kalverbos Veterinary Clinic. I built the place according to the blueprint. Coordinated colours and refined it down to the last detail. I look to Japanese architecture and graphic design for these qualities. I like looking at architect Santiago Calatrava’s work because his forms have meaning, emotional rhythm and a sense of proportion.
