The Piano House by Line Architects is one of the most interesting objects in my field, and a number of essential design features come together there. Clear, logical connections and sight lines have been created inside the house so that the indoors and outdoors are directly and organically connected, creating beautiful vistas. That seems very simple at first, but it’s not. This also applies to the LC4 lounge chair by Le Corbusier from 1928, an example of a beautiful, sophisticated balance between comfort and geometry. I get my inspiration from this kind of work, so I spend a lot of time scanning Pinterest in search of shapes and designs that offer me new insights and inspire me.
